Adult Recreational Classes

Taiko class can help you reduce stress, find balance, recharge, and reconnect with yourself. San Jose Taiko's Adult Recreational Class (ARC) is open to adults of all ages and skill levels. ARC is designed to give people the chance to play taiko on a casual basis and covers basic playing techniques, taiko history and etiquette, and San Jose Taiko's philosophy. Although no experience is necessary, participants must be at least 15 years old and capable of fairly rigorous physical activity.

2017 ARC Sessions

WINTER: January 8 - February 26, 2017

SPRING: March 19 - May 7, 2017

FALL: September 10 - October 29, 2017  

Session Length: 8 weeks

Days/Times: Sundays 11:30am-1:30pm

Location: SJT Studio, 150 S Montgomery Street, San Jose

Class Size: 16 students, 2 instructors

Fee: $250, Class fee is not refundable. If you drop out more than 2 weeks before the start of your session, you can switch to a different ARC session if space is available.

If you aren't able to take an ARC session you can sign up for one of our Public Workshops.
